Psychologically:
If we are late in the dream, the unconscious reminds us to take together us and not to miss the big opportunity which could offer us the life just at this moment. The Zuspätkommen is always an obstacle on our life, however, reminds also sometimes of the fear to wake in the other morning not on time and then to miss maybe the train or to come too late to the office.
